Fugazi is the third album by British rock band Marillion, released in 1984. The album was recorded at The Farm residential studio in Surrey, England and was produced by Nick Tauber. Fugazi was the band's first album to chart on the Billboard 200 in the United States, where it reached number 188. The album was also commercially successful in the United Kingdom, where it reached number 16 on the UK Albums Chart. Fugazi was praised by music critics. Eduardo Rivadavia of AllMusic, in a retrospective review, called the album "a watershed moment for Marillion , and one of the most important progressive rock albums of the 1980s". Rivadavia further stated that "Fugazi is an album that rewards repeated listens, thanks to its ever-changing moods and textures, as well as its ambitious and multi-layered songwriting". The album's title track, "Fugazi," is one of the band's most popular songs. It was written by singer Fish and keyboardist Mark Kelly and is about the Falklands War. "Fugazi" was released as a single and reached number 49 in the UK singles chart.
