The album was produced by Tom Allom, who also produced the band's previous album, British Steel, and was the first Priest album to feature drummer Dave Holland. Point of Entry was also the band's first album to be released in the United States, reaching number 17 on the Billboard 200 chart. Although not as successful as British Steel, Point of Entry is a classic Judas Priest album worth revisiting. The songs are catchy, the musicianship is top notch and the album is a good example of the band's early sound. If you are a fan of Judas Priest or hard rock in general, then Point of Entry is definitely worth a listen.
