BMG is reissuing all six solo tracks by the infamous Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson on vinyl. The album "Chemical Wedding", remastered by Andy Pearce, is released for the first time ever in LP format. The central theme of this album is alchemy and the fascination with the occult as such. A large part of the lyrics were inspired by the writer Aleister Crowley and the English poet William Blake - some passages from the latter were even taken entirely.

Bruce Dickinson's 1998 "The Chemical Wedding" is a concept album based on Christian Rosenkreutz's 1616 alchemical wedding. The album is a rock opera and tells the story of Rosenkreutz's journey to the East and his discovery of the philosopher's stone. The album is Dickinson's most ambitious project to date and is a departure from his usual style of heavy metal. "The Chemical Wedding" is a dark and atmospheric album with elements of progressive rock and classical music. The album was well received by critics and was a commercial success.
